Visiting Hannibal, Missouri

Do you enjoy reading?

I don’t know about you, but I enjoy reading. Growing up, one of my favorite stories was “The Prince and the Pauper,” written by Mark Twain.
I still remember quotes such as “Dreams do not vanish, so long as people do not abandon them,” or “Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life.”
Quotes such as these build my hope for the future. They inspired me to become my best self and to succeed in life.

Did you know Mark Twain was born in Missouri?

When I found out that Mark Twain was born in Missouri, I was really excited; when I found out that there is a museum dedicated to him in Missouri, then I got really excited.
I needed to visit Hannibal, Missouri, and see the house where he grew up, the place that inspired him to write his books.
Visiting Hannibal, Missouri, was a dream come true.
I was so excited to share some of the photos I took, the lessons I learned, and the things that inspired me to continue my writing journey.
It is interesting to me that having a hard life really truly inspires people to be creative. I can certainly relate to Twain in some of life’s difficulties.

Want to know who else is from Missouri?

I have to say after I created this magazine to share on the blog, I visited Disney World, and I was in awe of how Mark Twain’s stories also inspired another Missourian, “Walt Disney,” himself.
I did visit Tom Sawyer’s Island and was excited to see the resemblance to Hannibal, Missouri.
If you ever have the opportunity to visit Missouri, I highly encourage a trip to Hannibal.
In the meantime I hope you enjoy the magazine and remember life is all about balance, Live Well, Learn Lots, and Travel the World; an adventure awaits right around the corner.
