This past week has been a busy one. We went to NYC and while the kids spent some fun times with their grandparents, I was able to attend my first blogging conference.
First of all I want to thank all the amazing people who put this event together especially Charlene Deloach from mom’s chronicles.
Then, I want to give a big shout out to Jennifer Gaffner who befriended me online and was busy making sure everything ran smoothly through out the event. She even took sometime to talk to me which was greatly appreciated.
When you are going to an event by yourself can be intimidated. During the Care Bear breakfast which was the first event I got to sit with 2 amazing sisters I was able to share a little about me and they got share a bit about themselves.
Through our conversations they gave me so many great ideas and tips.
Most of you know that I blog for fun, I blog about things that makes me happy, I blog because I truly enjoy writing. However, I would love to have more time to write.
One of the biggest things in life for me is my ability to take a sucky situation and make something positive from it.
We are in the middle of a move for my husband’s job. Since we are relocating I had to quit my job, which means I will have more time to write and focus on growing my blog.
For someone who truly enjoys working and serving others this time is very difficult for me.
This time though I will be focusing on growing my blog which will lead me to grow with you.
One of the biggest things I learned on Blogger Bash is that I am my brand. I am the face of Sophia James Education and I must focus on the content that I will be bringing to you.
Most of you that read my blog actually know me on a personal level. I want to bring the joy, the knowledge that I have to you here. I want to share a couple of tips that work for me in managing the house, work, kids, adventures, budgeting, my spiritual life. I am learning how to grow a business and I want you to be part of this journey. I believe the internet is big enough for all of us to grow together and I want to help you to build something for yourself too (if you have the interest in doing so).
I know I have set really big goals of myself and I feel I haven’t met all of them yet. I am a working in process, I believe that even my shortfalls can bring us closer to success.

I will be posting a video today about the brands I got to meet this week and I will teach you how I introduced myself to them. For the first time I will be working with companies to promote their products. The real cool thing here is that I will be promoting products that I already use on a daily basis and I will be able to share with you how I use these amazing products. Stay tuned for more on that.
