Reaching for the Stars- Space Exploration

I received a GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope from Educational Insights in exchange for a honest review.
I accepted to review the telescope because I believe it would be a perfect match for our family. I believe in the power of science education  specially for the little ones.
Dear Parents,
What if I told you that you can make space exploration possible for your child from the convenience of your own home? What if you could see the craters of the moon and wonder what it would be like to walk on the moon? What if you could help your little one dream so high that they almost touch the sky? What if you can teach your little ones that all their dreams can be reached?
Space is important to me. I love to go outside and just explore space with my husband.
My husband is a space explorer through the lenses of his telescope.
He reads, research a lot of cool facts about space. Even though I am not as savvy as he is I still love space.
The possibilities. The greatness of space is just amazing to me. We are like spec of dust in this vast universe.
When I first received the GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope, I had this vision of going outside and seeing my little girl observe the moon during the super moon (well, that never happened as it was raining here in Germany and we never got to see the super moon).
It would have been an excellent opportunity to have the little one explore space.
Moms expectations were very different from my little one.
As soon as the little one opened the GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope, she was absolutely thrilled.

Telescope exploration

Her GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope accompanied her everywhere.
We went to Disney and the GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope went with us to the hotel there. The GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope came with us on her handbag to Germany.
She would just sit around and pretend to see the moon. She pretended to see the stars.
She made believe.
In her little mind space was just a telescope away.

Space exploration

Imagine your little ones reaching for the stars, realizing that everything is possible. Imagine their excitement for a starry  night.

Reaching for the stars

Well, in my family we believe in the greatness of space and we wanted our children to share this amazing experience.
This telescope was the start of a journey that will last a lifetime.
A journey that will bring space exploration possible from home.
A journey that will encourage my little one to learn, research, grow.
A journey that inspires her to reach for the stars.
I have caught my little space explorer in different occasions sitting around and just exploring with her GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope. One day our friends came over with their daughters and as soon as they saw the telescope they were super excited.
We have Melissa and Doug’s dress up clothes for the kids. They all dressed up, one of the kids dressed up as an astronaut, telescope in hand she began to play.
As I sat around watching them play, I was amazed by all the creativity.
She grabbed the telescope and used it to guide her to arrive safely to the moon. Once she arrived safely at the moon, she used the telescope to explore places unknown to man kind.
At that moment my heart leaped with joy.
I am an educator and believe in literacy for all. As such I also encourage women to pursue careers in science.
I have a degree in Biology myself.
I know that the GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope is just a toy.
The way I see it though, the GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope is just an investment in the future of my children.
I hope to encourage them to expand their horizons and most important to teach them to reach for the stars.
Knowing that everything is possible.
I am so excited that toys are becoming more and more tools to enrich our children’s lives.
I would love to for you to check out, GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope, this amazing toy, for yourself.
Remember to ALWAYS reach for the stars!
With love,
Raquel
